Karras appeared mysteriously at the gates of Oleg’s Trading Post the day after the party from Restov arrived. He had a copy of the official charter in his possession as well, and immediately resigned himself to a place in the fort’s stables.
Karras’ background is either unknown, forgotten, or irrelevant, and he discusses it very little. He does have a remarkable understanding of politics, a blessing from the divine, and a knack for mechanics, all of which he puts forth into an obsessive drive to cleanse the Stolen Lands and prepare them for colonization.
